Winchester Royal Hotel in the heart of Winchester seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to own the restaurant, bars, private dining, conferences, events and weddings.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead the F&B team, deliver a first-class guest experience and drive GOP targets through stock, liquor and payroll control.

This role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an F&B manager or senior supervisor in events and weddings.
• Strong commercial sense with budgeting, cost control and pricing experience.
• Hands-on leader with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Hospitality management qualification or equivalent experience.

Location: Winchester, Hampshire

Contract: Full-time, permanent | Salary: [£37000 + benefits]

Winchester Royal Hotel, an 81-bedroom hotel in the heart of Winchester, is looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager.

You’ll take full ownership of our F&B operation, covering the restaurant and bars, private dining, conferences, events and weddings.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll lead the F&B team.

You’ll deliver a first-class guest experience and drive the profitability of the department.

What you’ll do

• Plan and manage daily F&B operations, making sure service runs smoothly in every outlet.
• Lead, coach and develop the team through training, briefings and appraisals, and recruit new staff.
• Own the F&B budget and deliver GOP targets through good stock, liquor and payroll control.
• Build a strong sales culture that drives average spend and covers.
• Work with the Head Chef on menus that suit guest preferences and market trends.
• Set and maintain service standards and SOPs, and act on guest feedback.
• Make sure the department complies with health and safety, food safety and allergen rules.

What we’re looking for
