We have a great opportunity for a Bar & Restaurant Manager to join the group at Leonardo Hotels.


We want you to lead a brilliant and diverse team to deliver excellence to our valued customers across our amazing hotel.

Experience We Expect
  • Department Manager or exceptional Duty Manager looking for their first HOD role
  • Background in branded hotels or restaurants is preferred – so you will understand how we work and settle in quickly
  • Excellent Customer service skills, standards driven, good organisational skills
  • Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment and enjoy it
  • Great at up-selling – anticipating customer needs as well as improving the bottom line
  • Manage the team and resources to ensure departments are equipped for service via cost controls, stock monitoring, and rota management
  • Communicate effectively to motivate your team, providing leadership and direction
  • Proficient in computer systems – experience with Opera, SAP, and Micros is desirable
Your Responsibilities Will Be
  • Manage the daily operations of the Food and Beverage Department
  • Be visible in the hotel, managing day-to-day operations and ensuring exceptional guest service at peak times
  • Prepare for the day's business, including morning meetings and sharing information with the team
  • Maintain customer satisfaction through quality control standards, monitored by our mystery guest program
  • Control costs and monitor productivity
  • Keep the team informed about departmental, hotel, and company activities
  • Develop sales plans aligned with the annual budget, maximising sales through up-selling, incentives, and promotions
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and monitor feedback on TripAdvisor and other review sites, implementing improvements as needed
  • Lead and develop an energetic workforce, including recruitment, training, team engagement, and other people management responsibilities
