Job description

The Role

Our Food & Beverage Managers focus on creating positively memorable dining experiences for our guests, overseeing the Meeting & Events spaces, and driving consistency and excellence throughout. Through positive leadership of the F&B team, you will be responsible for delivering an efficient, effective, and profitable service that meets revenue and cost targets.

The role reports directly to the General Manager and is part of a team based at our attractive hotel in Leicester, LE2 7QS.

Food & Beverage Manager duties include:

  • Overseeing the food and beverage department, ensuring a consistently outstanding level of service is delivered to all guests and diners
  • Overseeing the Meeting & Event spaces, providing consistent levels of excellence
  • Promoting a culture that anticipates customer needs wherever possible and reacting to these to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Establishing and achieving quality and guest satisfaction goals
  • Keeping your knowledge up to date, enabling you to make recommendations to guests
  • Monitoring budgets and controlling expenses and labour costs
  • Proactively engaging in marketing your hotel’s restaurant, both in-house and externally
  • Driving promotions that deliver outstanding dining experiences for guests

What you’ll bring to the team

An ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • Demonstrable success in a Food and Beverage Supervisory/Management position
  • A passion for the Food and Beverage industry and keeping up to date with trends
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating and influencing others to work to defined procedures and standards
  • Numerate, computer literate, and able to manage resources within agreed budgets
  • Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures
