Job summary

The Alexander Hotel Collection is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant for Rowhill Grange Hotel & Utopia Spa. The role covers breakfast, lunch and dinner service in our Grillroom Restaurant (2 Rosette standard) for residents, spa guests and local visitors.

Candidates need a smart appearance, excellent communication skills and a passion for guest service; experience in a quality hotel/restaurant is required. 5-day rotating shifts incl weekends.

• A passion for guest service and high standards of hospitality are required.
• Experience in a quality food service hotel/restaurant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant for service.
• Greet guests and take orders.
• Serve food and beverages including alcoholic drinks.
• Perform satisfaction checks and resolve issues.
• Present bills and take payments.
• Reset the restaurant for the next service.
• Keep work area clean and tidy during and after shifts.

£26,436.80 per annum + monthly service charge payment

The Role

Working in our RG's Grillroom Restaurant (2 Rosette standard) serving food and beverage to residents, spa guests and local visitors. Service for guests covers breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days per week so candidates must be available for flexible shift patterns across 5 days including weekends

Offering food and beverage service to dining guests in our fine dining hotel restaurant.5 days per week, flexible shifts covering breakfast/lunch/dinner service, including weekends

• Preparing the restaurant for service
• Meeting and greeting guests
• Taking guest orders
• Serving food and beverage including alcoholic beverages
• Completing satisfaction checks
• Resolving any service issues
• Presenting bills to guests and taking payment
• Resetting the restaurant at the end of the shift ready for the next service
• Ensuring work area is clean and tidy before departing

You must have smart appearance, excellent communication skills with a passion for guest service and experience within a quality food service hotel/restaurant required.
