Job summary

Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead the restaurant and events teams, delivering Hyatt-standard guest experiences. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to operations in a premium hotel setting.

You will manage staff, payroll, stock, and budgets while promoting Hyatt values and ensuring safety and quality across the Food & Beverage department.

Qualifications

• Experience in premium hospitality is preferred.

Duties and responsibilities related to the Food and Beverage Supervisor role

• Lead, motivate and develop the Food & Beverage team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and uphold Hyatt brand standards.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and events spaces, ensuring service, presentation and cleanliness are consistently maintained.
• Maximise revenue opportunities through outstanding service, effective teamwork and operational excellence.
• Build strong relationships with guests, handling requests and resolving concerns professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Conduct team briefings, training and performance reviews to support colleague development and engagement.
• Manage staffing, payroll, ordering and stock control in line with departmental budgets and business needs.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, security and cash-handling procedures at all times.
• Foster positive working relationships across all departments and actively contribute to a collaborative team culture.
• Maintain a professional appearance and high standards of personal conduct, while promoting Hyatt values and participating in colleague engagement initiatives.
• Remain flexible to support other departments and undertake additional responsibilities as required to meet operational and guest needs.

About You

Previous experience in a premium hospitality setting is preferred. You have strong attention to detail, a reliable work ethic, and proficiency in conversational English to communicate effectively with colleagues and guests.
