Job summary

Malmaison Hotel Du Vin Holdings Limited in York City Centre is seeking a passionate Food & Beverage Manager to organise and lead the day-to-day operations of the Restaurant, Bar, and Work & Play spaces. You will report to the Operations Manager and drive guest satisfaction through staff excellence and hands-on leadership.

• Previous management experience with sound knowledge of food and drink in a similar sized property.
• Excellent communication skills, being a team player and hands-on.

In this role you’re a real organiser, who loves leading and motivating your team. As Food and Beverage Manager your role reports into the Operations Manager and is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the day to day operations of the Restaurant, Bar and Work & Play (function) areas.

You will also be required to work closely with all department managers in people management, finance and budgeting, sales and revenue management. You will be expected to ensure that our guests receive amazing hospitality at all times, that all staff are able to deliver service exceeding guest expectations and enhancing the guest journey at every opportunity.

You will have previous experience in management with a sound knowledge of food and drink in a similar sized property. Food and Beverage Managers must have excellent communication skills, be a team player and enjoy a hands‑on role. You must have passion for hospitality and deliver service with a smile.
