Qualifications

As our Food & Beverage Manager, you will ensure guests enjoy memorable experiences by managing all aspects of the Food & Beverage operations, including Restaurant, Bar, Room Service, and Conference & Events. Your role will involve tailoring guest experiences to their preferences, driving service standards forward, implementing changes, and increasing profitability.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Managing and guiding the Food & Beverage Department to ensure smooth daily service, providing effective leadership and training to meet business and company objectives
  • Overseeing Restaurant, Bar, Room Service, and Conference & Events operations
  • Ensuring high levels of personal attention and service for all guests
  • Maintaining food safety standards and accurate record-keeping
  • Upholding brand standards related to service, setup, and loyalty programs
  • Covering duty management shifts in the absence of other Heads of Department
  • Recruiting, engaging, and retaining colleagues through effective performance management and administrative tasks

What we are looking for:

  • Previous management experience as a Food & Beverage Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar role, preferably in a branded hotel environment, with strong food service knowledge
  • Proactive, composed, enthusiastic, approachable, with the ability to motivate teams under pressure
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and administrative skills, with attention to detail
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
