Job summary

Forbes of Kingennie is recruiting a Food & Beverage Duty Manager to lead our Bar, Restaurant and Events teams and ensure smooth shifts. You will work closely with the F&B Manager to deliver exceptional service and memorable guest experiences at our resort near Dundee.

The role requires proven supervisory experience in hospitality, strong leadership, and a passion for guest satisfaction. You will actively contribute to maintaining high service standards and cost control across the F&B operation.

• Supervisory or managerial experience in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good understanding of budget management and cost control.
• Organised with ability to prioritise multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the F&B team to deliver high service standards.
• Support the F&B Manager and Deputy Manager with daily operations and shift management.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences across Bar, Restaurant and Events.
• Build strong relationships across the business and with stakeholders.
• Support budget management and cost control to hit financial targets.

At Forbes of Kingennie, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional experiences across our Bar, Restaurant and Events areas. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Duty Manager to join our Food & Beverage team and play a key role in leading a high-performing team within our busy and fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with the F&B Manager and F&B Deputy Manager to ensure the smooth and successful operation of each shift, delivering outstanding service standards and creating memorable experiences for our guests. With a passion for hospitality and a natural ability to lead and motivate others, you will help drive customer satisfaction, encourage repeat business and ensure every guest receives the excellent service they expect.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the Food & Beverage team to deliver consistently high standards of service.
• Support the Food & Beverage Manager and Deputy Manager with the smooth running of daily operations and shift management.
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining excellent service standards across the Bar, Restaurant and Events areas.
• Build positive relationships across the business and work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Support effective budget management and cost control to help achieve financial objectives.
• Take a hands-on approach to resolving issues, supporting the team and ensuring operational standards are maintained.
