Job summary

Forbes of Kingennie aims to hire a diligent Housekeeper to maintain pristine lodges and resort facilities near Dundee. You will clean, service and prepare guest spaces, manage laundry bags, restock supplies, and report maintenance issues while upholding high standards of hygiene and guest comfort.

We offer flexible full/part-time hours, weekend work as needed, and a supportive team in a peaceful countryside setting. Previous housekeeping experience and pride in detail are valued.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cleaning/housekeeping experience.
• Reliable, organised, and able to manage time effectively.
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service lodges to a high standard.
• Work to daily arrival/departure lists to prioritise lodge cleaning.
• Prepare individual laundry bags with bedding and towels.
• Restock guest supplies (toilet roll, hand wash, etc.).
• Report maintenance issues, faults, and damages promptly.
• Use and store cleaning materials safely.
• Maintain good communication with other departments.
• Handle cleaning-related complaints professionally.

Situated near Dundee in the heart of Angus, our resort is surrounded by stunning scenery and serves as an ideal base for exploring Scotland. With luxury lodges, a restaurant, events facilities, and outdoor activities, we pride ourselves on delivering memorable experiences for all our guests.

The Role

We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will help ensure our lodges and resort facilities are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for every guest.

This role would particularly suit:

• Experienced cleaners or housekeepers
• Self-employed cleaners seeking regular, dependable hours
• Individuals who take genuine pride in high standards and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities
