Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group’s Cliveden Manor Care Home in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, seeks a friendly Food and Beverage Team Member to assist with dining and meals for residents, in a supportive, resident-centered environment.

You’ll contribute to high standards of service and hygiene, handle front-of-house duties, and work as part of a team across dining and kitchen areas. This role emphasizes compassionate care and resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents.
• Experience in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel would be desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the dining service and assist residents with their meals.
• Help residents choose meal options at the time of dining.
• Set dining tables in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and remove/replenish dirty crockery throughout the day.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenish finger foods and fresh fruit.
• Be aware of residents' dietary requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals .

Other responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.
• Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
• Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of resident’s dietary requirements.
