Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member for Westbourne Tower Care Home in Bournemouth, Dorset. You will support the dining service and assist residents with their meals in a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

Responsibilities include helping residents choose meal options, setting tables to SOPs, keeping front of house clean, replenishing cakes, biscuits, finger foods and fruit, and accommodating dietary requirements.

Qualifications

• High standards of personal hygiene required.
• Compassion and commitment to delivering culinary services to residents.
• Experience in a similar setting (restaurant or hotel) desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the dining service and assist residents with meals.

• Ensure dining tables are set according to SOPs.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy and well-presented; clear and replenish crockery.
• Provide fresh homemade cakes/biscuits in the bistro and offer finger foods and fresh fruit, replenishing as needed.

Food and Beverage Team Member at Westbourne Tower Care Home in Bournemouth, Dorset.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals

.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.
• Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
• Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well‑presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of resident’s dietary requirements.
