Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm Food and Beverage Team Member to support dining services at Elstree View Care Home in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. You will help residents choose meals, keep dining areas tidy, and ensure fresh baked goods and fruit are available throughout the day.

The ideal candidate will have care/hospitality experience, high personal hygiene standards, and a basic Food Hygiene Certificate. DBS screening is provided and eligibility to work in the UK is required.

• Support residents with choosing meal options during dining.

• Replenish fresh homemade cakes/biscuits, finger foods and fresh fruit in the bistro areas.

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. Other responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.
• Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
• Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of resident's dietary requirements, Please note this role will require:
• A DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
