Job summary

Away Resorts in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our bar, restaurant and events team. You will welcome guests, take orders, serve drinks, and ensure guests have an enjoyable visit. This flexible role requires weekend and bank holiday availability with training provided.

Food and Beverage Assistant

Hours of work: Variable - availability between 06:30 am - 12:00 pm including weekends and occasionally lunch service!

Salary: £12.71 per hour - paid weekly!

Due to the nature of the role you must be 18 or over to apply for this position.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be welcoming guests into our restaurant or bar and ensuring they enjoy their visit. This includes:

• Serving drinks at the bar
• Waiting on tables – taking food and drink orders, bringing out food and clearing tables
• Responding to guests and ensuring they are happy
• Cleaning and resetting tables

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays and weekends too.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need
