Job summary

The Ickworth, part of Luxury Family Hotels, is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant on a casual worker basis at our Suffolk retreat. You will support the team and help deliver friendly, guest-focused service.

Set in beautiful parkland, the role offers real variety across bar and restaurant service. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, a positive attitude and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• A positive attitude with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the demands of our busy hotel.
• A commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities

• Support LFH service by working with the kitchen team to deliver great guest service.
• Create memorable guest moments, especially with children.
• Ensure a safe dining experience by understanding allergens and menu offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across food and beverage areas, following safety regulations.

Contract: Casual Worker
Salary: £12.71 per hour plus service charge

The Ickworth, part of Luxury Family Hotels, is entering an exciting new era. As a Food & Beverage Assistant you will play a part in shaping the next chapter of this much-loved Suffolk retreat.

Job Type: Casual Worker Agreement – Hours are offered to our casual workers in line with the demands of the business. Flexibility will be key, as shifts will vary and will include some weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and deliver a fantastic LFH Service: You will work together, alongside the kitchen team to deliver fantastic service to our guests.
• Make long lasting unique memories: We welcome your charisma and personality and encourage you to create memories and relationships with our guests – especially the littlest ones!
• Ensure a safe dining experience: You will endeavour to be diligent and knowledgeable of all our menu offerings and understanding allergens to keep our guests safe.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food and beverage areas: adhering to health and safety regulations.
