Confidential, a leading UK accident management company, is hiring a First Notification of Loss (FNOL) Claims Handler in Manchester City Centre. You will be the first point of contact for customers after road traffic accidents, gathering details and guiding them through the claims process.

The role offers a base salary of £28,750.02 with uncapped monthly commission and an realistic OTE of £45,000, with top performers earning up to £70,000. 43.5 hours per week, typical rota across 7am–11pm.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in FNOL, motor claims, insurance, accident management or a similar customer-focused role.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills.
• A calm, empathetic and professional telephone manner.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• The ability to build rapport quickly and take ownership of customer interactions.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound First Notification of Loss (FNOL) calls from customers following road traffic accidents.
• Gather accurate and detailed information about the incident and record all relevant claim details.
• Assess liability and determine the appropriate next steps in line with company procedures.
• Explain the claims process clearly, confidently and professionally.
• Arrange appropriate accident management services, including vehicle recovery, repairs and replacement vehicles.
• Keep customers informed and supported throughout the early stages of their claim.
• Liaise effectively with internal teams and service providers to ensure claims progress smoothly.
• Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service while working towards individual performance and commission targets.
• Identify opportunities to maximise customer outcomes and contribute to the overall success of the team.
