Manucomm Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a leading FMCG manufacturer near Shepton Mallet. The role offers permanent, full-time shift work with 12-hour day and night patterns and a salary of £50,000–£53,000+.

You will maintain, fault-find and repair automated production machinery, minimise downtime and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations required, mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Recognised mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential).
• Strong fault-finding and repair skills.
• Understanding of automated manufacturing processes.
• Proactive and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reactive and planned maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Fault diagnosis and repair of automated systems.
• Work collaboratively with production teams to resolve engineering issues.
• Ensure compliance with H&S and engineering standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects and root cause analysis.
