Job summary

Myton Food Group is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to keep our manufacturing site running at peak performance. You will maintain, repair and improve machinery, perform preventative maintenance and support production through efficient changeovers.

Based on site in Bradford, you’ll troubleshoot quickly, coordinate with specialists when needed and maintain records while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in FMCG environments.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, conveyors, motors, pumps and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment to prevent disruptions.
• Respond to machinery breakdowns, diagnose problems and perform repairs or coordinate external specialists.
• Carry out machine adjustments and changeovers to support production efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Monitor and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy, quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify process improvements and provide technical expertise.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, schedules, repairs and spare parts inventory.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company procedures, stay updated with industry advances.
