Job summary

Myton Food Group is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for our Bradford manufacturing site. You will maintain, repair and improve machinery to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, you will perform routine inspections, respond to breakdowns, carry out adjustments and calibrations, keep detailed maintenance records and uphold health and safety standards while driving continuous productivity improvements.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in FMCG
• Proficient in troubleshooting industrial machinery

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment
• Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns and coordinate repairs
• Carry out machine adjustments and changeovers to maximise efficiency
• Monitor and calibrate equipment to ensure quality and safety
• Collaborate with production teams to improve processes and productivity
• Keep accurate maintenance records and manage spare parts inventory
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies
• Stay updated with industry advancements and new technologies
