Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate reach trucks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
• Manage stock levels using the WMS to ensure accurate inventory control.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including verifying incoming and outgoing goods.
• Handle materials carefully, ensuring proper stacking and storage in designated areas.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to maintain safety standards.
• Support general warehouse duties such as organising stock and maintaining a clean work environment.

My client in the BD4 area of Bardford are looking for an experienced FLT Driver - Reach and Counterbalance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating reach trucks safely, and supporting overall warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate reach trucks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including verifying incoming and outgoing goods
• Handle materials carefully, ensuring proper stacking and storage in designated areas

• Troubleshoot minor issues with equipment when necessary
• Apply basic maths skills for counting, measuring, and recording quantities accurately

• Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety protocols

• Basic mathematical skills for counting, weighing, and recording data accurately
• Prior experience in shipping & receiving operations is advantageous
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
