Job summary

Pertemps Leicester at East Midlands Gateway (DE74) is seeking experienced FLT Drivers for Counterbalance and Reach trucks on days and nights. Immediate starts with a genuine long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity. 4 on 4 off, 06:30-18:30 and 18:30-06:30 in a clean, modern warehouse.

Roles include operating FLTs, moving pallets, stocking lines, unloading and loading, and adhering to health & safety procedures. Onsite parking, subsidised canteen and overtime available in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Counterbalance and Reach FLTs.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Able to work in a busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance or Reach FLTs to move pallets.
• Move pallets and stock production lines.
• Unload/load goods as required and assist with rework when needed.
• Follow health and safety procedures and site rules.

These are genuine long-term opportunities, with temp-to-perm positions available for the right candidates.

The site is located in DE74 and is accessible by public transport.

Your duties will include:

• Operating Counterbalance or Reach FLTs
• Moving pallets around the warehouse
• Stocking production lines
• Offloading manufactured goods
• Loading and unloading where required
• Completing rework duties when required
• Working in an ambient warehouse environment
• Working to timed deadlines and targets
• Following all site health & safety procedures
