Job summary

Evoke Staffing Ltd is seeking a motivated Reach Truck/Counterbalance Driver for a client in Harlow. You will operate reach trucks to move, load, and unload materials, ensuring accurate inventory control and safe handling. The role requires familiarity with WMS, mechanical aptitude, and a strong safety mindset.

Shifts run Monday to Friday with rotating patterns across early, late, and night slots. In-house forklift training is accepted, and you will contribute to a fast-paced logistics operation

Qualifications

• Experience operating reach trucks or similar forklifts in a warehouse
• Familiarity with WMS for inventory control
• Mechanical knowledge for basic repairs
• Strong materials handling with safety and accuracy
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
• Ability to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Safely operate reach trucks to pick, load, and unload materials in designated warehouse areas
• Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately
• Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency
• Handle materials with precision, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and retrieval according to safety guidelines
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation
• Perform heavy lifting as needed, adhering to safety protocols for manual handling tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to support efficient workflow

Job Details

• Monday-Friday
• Rotating shift patterns (07:00-15:00 / 15:00 - 23:00 /23:00-07:00)

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate reach trucks to pick, load, and unload materials in designated warehouse areas

• Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and best practices
• Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements, quantities, and weights
• Prior experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment is preferred
