Job summary

Proactive Personnel Blackburn is seeking an FLT Reach Driver to support daily warehouse operations in Blackburn. The role involves loading, unloading, moving materials, and assisting with shipping/receiving with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Start date is ASAP and the position is 12 weeks temp-to-perm, with ongoing opportunities. Applicants should have proven forklift experience and CB/Reach licences, plus familiarity with warehouse management systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
• Valid CB and Reach licences required (in-house certificates not accepted).
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) used in stock control.
• Experience with materials handling and safe lifting practices.

Proactive Personnel Blackburn are currently looking for FLT Reach Drivers to start work in Blackburn.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
• Manage materials handling tasks, ensuring accurate placement and retrieval of goods.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying deliveries and preparing items for dispatch.
• Maintain inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems.

Skills

• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
• Both Valid CB & Reach licences, cannot accept in-house certificates.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong materials handling skills with the ability to load & unload efficiently.
• Good understanding of shipping & receiving procedures.
• Basic maths skills for inventory counts and measurements.
• Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and prolonged periods on foot.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 06:00am-14:00pm/ 14:00pm-22:00pm.

This role is looking to start ASAP.

This is a 12 week temp perm, with a view to go permanent.
