Job summary

People Solutions is hiring an FLT Reach & Counterbalance Driver for Coventry, West Midlands. This role involves operating reach and counterbalance forklifts, moving materials, and supporting manufacturing workflows.

Shifts are AM 06:00–14:00 and PM 14:00–22:00, with pay rates of £12.71 (AM) and £15.32 (PM) per hour. The position offers ongoing work, training, and opportunities to progress within the business. Applicants with prior forklift experience will fit quickly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Warehouse Operative
• Experience using FLT or Counterbalance trucks (preferred)
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A reliable and positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Moving materials to and from various points in the factory using counterbalance or reach trucks
• Collecting empty boxes and consolidating stock
• Ensuring manufacturing areas are supplied with materials as required
• Maintaining a consistently high level of cleanliness and housekeeping in all logistics areas
• Using manual handling equipment such as pump trucks and battery-powered hand trucks
• Operating forklift trucks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Providing materials to required locations within the factory using appropriate methods and equipment

People Solutions are currently recruiting for FLT Reach & Counterbalance Drivers to join our well-established client based in Coventry, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great benefits, ongoing work, and the potential to grow and progress within the business.

This role would suit applicants who have worked in a similar role such as a FLT Operator, FLT Driver, or Forklift Truck Operative.

Shifts:

• AM Shift; Monday to Friday:06:00 - 14:00
• PM Shift; Monday to Friday: 14:00 - 22:00

Rates of Pay:

• AM: £12.71 per hour basic
• PM: £15.32per hour basic

Day-to-Day Duties:
