Job summary

Jark PLC in Wakefield is seeking an experienced FLT Driver (Reach and Counterbalance) to support a busy warehouse environment. The role focuses on safely operating reach trucks, accurate stock handling, and assisting shipping and receiving activities.

The successful candidate will work within a well-organised logistics team, using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to maintain inventory accuracy and support efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• 2 years proven experience operating reach trucks or similar forklifts in a warehouse.
• Familiarity with WMS and stock procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate reach trucks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
• Manage stock levels using the WMS to ensure accurate inventory control
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including verifying incoming and outgoing goods
• Handle materials carefully, ensuring proper stacking and storage in designated areas
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to maintain safety standards
• Support General warehouse duties such as organising stock and maintaining a clean work environment
• Troubleshoot minor issues with equipment
• Apply basic maths skills for counting, measuring, and recording quantities accurately
