Job summary

Staffline is seeking a reliable Reach & Counterbalance FLT Operative to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation in Telford.

You will safely operate reach and counterbalance forklift trucks, load and unload vehicles, move stock, pick orders and help keep the site tidy. The role offers a 3 days on / 3 days off shift pattern from 06:00 to 18:00 with immediate starts and a potential temp-to-perm opportunity. Overtime is available at £16.17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Reach and Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Previous warehouse or forklift experience.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to support the wider warehouse operation.
• Experience in FMCG or distribution is advantageous but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating reach and counterbalance forklift trucks.
• Loading and unloading vehicles efficiently and safely.
• Moving, storing and replenishing stock within the warehouse.
• Completing put-away and order-picking duties accurately.
• Checking goods for damage and reporting any issues.
• Following site health and safety procedures at all times.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping.
• Supporting general warehouse duties when required.
• Working effectively as part of a team to meet operational targets.

Staffline is recruiting Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Truck Operatives in Telford.

The rate of pay is £12.94 per hour.

Overtime is available and is paid at £16.17 per hour.

This is a full-time position working a 3 days on, 3 days off shift pattern, from 06:00 to 18:00.

This role would suit an experienced FLT operative looking for a stable position, consistent shifts and the opportunity to work within a well-organised warehouse environment.
