Job summary

GI Group Main Account in Almondsbury, Bristol (BS32) is recruiting an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to support a busy brick manufacturing site. You will operate a counterbalance forklift and move bricks, pallets and materials around the warehouse and yard.

This ongoing temporary role offers regular weekday hours, weekly pay and the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate. A strong focus on safety and efficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Previous counterbalance forklift experience preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or yard environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Moving bricks, pallets and materials around the warehouse and yard.

FLT Driver (Counterbalance) Location: Almondsbury, Bristol (BS32) Pay Rate: £14.87 per hour, paid weekly Hours: Monday to Friday

• Day Shifts Contract: Temporary to Permanent We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join a busy brick manufacturing site in Almondsbury, Bristol (BS32). This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious FLT Driver looking for ongoing work, regular weekday hours and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Working across the warehouse and yard, you will play an important role in supporting production and dispatch operations, ensuring materials and finished products are moved safely and efficiently.

What Does the Role Involve?

Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.

Moving bricks, pallets and materials around the warehouse and yard.

Loading and unloading deliveries.

Supplying production lines with materials and moving finished goods.

Carrying out daily forklift checks and reporting any faults.

Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

Following site procedures and health and safety guidelines.

What We're Looking For

A valid Counterbalance FLT licence

Previous counterbalance forklift experience is preferred.

Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or yard environment would be an advantage.

A good understanding of workplace health and safety.

A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.

The ability to work in a busy, hands-on environment.

Pay, Hours and Benefits - £14.87 per hour.

Weekly pay.

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm.

Friday: 7:30am - 3:00pm.

Monday to Friday day shifts.

Ongoing temporary work.

Opportunity to move into a permanent position for the right candidate.
