People Solutions are recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our client in Weedon Bec, Northamptonshire. This role offers night shifts, weekly pay, and genuine long-term opportunities within a busy warehouse environment.

Rate of pay £14.60 per hour and immediate starts available. You will operate a Counterbalance FLT, prepare and sort orders for dispatch, load and unload deliveries, receive and check stock, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Previous FLT experience with a valid Counterbalance FLT licence (in-house licences accepted)
• A basic level of spoken and written English
• The ability to work permanent night shifts

Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and effectively within the warehouse
• Preparing and sorting orders ready for dispatch
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Receiving, checking and booking in stock accurately
• Preparing and labelling goods ready for dispatch
• Moving, storing and organising stock within the warehouse
• Supporting Goods In and Goods Out operations
• Ensuring all products are stored safely and correctly
• Carrying out stock movements using a Counterbalance FLT
• Completing routine equipment and safety checks
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment

• Monday to Friday Nights
• 21:00 - 06:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as an FLT Counterbalance Driver are:

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an FLT Counterbalance Driver, you will need:

• Previous FLT experience with a valid Counterbalance FLT licence (in-house licences accepted)
• A basic level of spoken and written English
• Good attention to detail
• Reliability and strong timekeeping skills
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive and proactive attitude
• The ability to work permanent night shifts

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience using a clamp attachment
• Experience within a warehouse or logistics environment
• Experience working within a fast-paced distribution operation

Training:

• Industry-related training provided
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
