Job summary

Clarke Transport in Basildon is seeking a Counterbalance Forklift Driver for a permanent, early-morning role from 03:00 to 09:00, Monday to Friday, based on a 30-hour week. You will load/unload vehicles, help in warehouse, and maintain safety standards.

The job requires a current counterbalance license, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure, with the team and on own initiative. Weekly pay and benefits offered.

Salary for Counterbalance Forklift Driver of £21,169 OTE based on 30 hours a week.

• Weekly pay (every Thursday)
• 20 Days plus eight statutory holidays (28 days in total Pro Rota)
• Additional Holiday after four years’ service – Extra Day for every additional year’s service up to a maximum of 5 extra days (Pro-Rata)
• Death in service – £20,000
• Ongoing training, refreshing your FLT when needed and possible upskilling to Class 2 through our apprenticeship scheme after 6 months service
