Job Description

Want a forklift driving role that offers regular weekday hours and ongoing work? We’re recruiting reliable Counterbalance Forklift Operators to join a busy operation, offering competitive pay and a consistent daytime schedule.

If you hold a valid counterbalance forklift licence and want to put your skills to use, this could be a great opportunity. Previous experience is beneficial but not essential, making the role suitable for newly qualified operators too.

You’ll help keep daily operations running smoothly by moving stock and materials safely around the workplace. Your duties will include transporting and positioning goods, moving stock to the correct storage areas and assisting with general warehouse tasks when required.

You’ll also be expected to maintain a safe and organised working environment, follow all Health & Safety procedures and work alongside colleagues to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.

Duration: This is an ongoing position, offering the opportunity to secure regular work.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: The role pays £13.75 per hour, and you’ll accrue up to 28 days’ holiday per year. You’ll also benefit from regular Monday-to-Friday hours and ongoing work opportunities.If you’re looking for dependable work with a competitive rate of pay, Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Working Hours: You’ll work Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 16:00, giving you consistent daytime hours and free time outside work.

Experience & Qualifications

You must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence. Previous counterbalance forklift experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential.

We’re looking for someone with a reliable attitude, good timekeeping and a strong awareness of workplace safety. You should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.

If you live outside the local area, you must have a valid driving licence and your own transport to travel to and from work.
