Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Counterbalance FLT Driver for daytime, ongoing temporary work in the UK. A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is required; previous experience is beneficial but not essential.

Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious candidates will fit well. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, move and store stock, assist with general warehouse duties, follow Health & Safety procedures and work with colleagues to maintain a safe, organized environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence is required.
• Previous counterbalance forklift experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Reliable and punctual attitude.
• Good timekeeping and attendance.

• Driving licence and own transport if travelling from outside local area.

Job Description

Looking for your next opportunity as a Counterbalance FLT Driver? We’re recruiting dependable operators to join a busy team, offering regular daytime hours, competitive pay and ongoing work.

If you hold a valid counterbalance forklift licence and want a role with a consistent working routine, this could be a great fit for you. Previous experience is beneficial, but it isn’t essential, so this is also an opportunity for newly qualified operators to gain experience.

The Role

You’ll play an important part in keeping daily warehouse operations running efficiently, helping to move stock and materials safely around the workplace.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to move and position goods
• Supporting the movement and storage of stock
• Assisting with general warehouse duties when required
• Following site Health & Safety procedures
• Working with colleagues to maintain a safe, organised and productive environment

Duration: Reliable ongoing work is available.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: £13.75 per hour. Up to 28 days’ holiday accrued per year. Consistent daytime hours are available.Ongoing work opportunities,If you’re looking for reliable work with a competitive hourly rate, we’d love to hear from you. Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
