QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking Counterbalance FLT Drivers for a busy UK warehouse. Earn £13.75 per hour with regular daytime shifts on a temporary ongoing basis.

Role includes moving goods, supporting warehouse operations, ensuring safety, and adhering to site procedures. Shifts run Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00, with up to 28 days holiday per year.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence required or essential to be considered.
• Previous counterbalance forklift experience is preferred but not essential.
• Must take safety seriously and arrive on time, able to work independently or with a team.
• Candidates from outside local area should have a valid driving licence and own transport.

Job Description

Looking for a fresh start in warehouse work with hours you can rely on? We’re looking for Counterbalance FLT Drivers to join a busy operation, offering a competitive hourly rate, regular daytime shifts and ongoing work.

This role could suit someone who already has forklift experience or a newly qualified operator looking to gain experience in a working environment.

You’ll be responsible for helping move goods and materials around the site, ensuring stock is handled safely and placed where it needs to be. Alongside your forklift duties, you may also support the wider warehouse team with day-to-day tasks to help keep operations running smoothly.

Maintaining a tidy work area, following site safety procedures and communicating effectively with colleagues will all be important parts of the job.

Duration: This is an ongoing position, offering regular work for dependable candidates.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You’ll earn £13.75 per hour and accrue up to 28 days’ holiday per year. Working Hours: The working week runs from Monday to Friday, with shifts starting at 07:30 and finishing at 16:00. These regular daytime hours allow you to plan your week around a consistent routine.

Experience & Qualifications

You’ll need to hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence to be considered. Although previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift would be useful, it isn’t essential.

We’re looking for someone who takes safety seriously, arrives on time and can be relied upon to complete tasks responsibly. You should be comfortable working both independently and alongside other members of the team.

Candidates travelling from outside the local area must have a valid driving licence and their own transport to get to and from work.
