Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking a reliable Forklift Operative to join a client in a cold storage environment. The role involves unloading and loading with a forklift, moving stock to fridges/freezers, and placing items onto racking or pallets. You must be comfortable in chilled conditions and physically able to perform repetitive lifting.

Previous warehouse experience is preferred. This is a temp-to-perm role, 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.

Job description

We are currently looking to for a reliable and hardworking Forklift Operative to join our client

This is a hands-on role working within a cold storage environment and would suit someone physically fit, dependable, and comfortable with repetitive lifting duties.

Your duties are using the FLT to unload and take into the Fridge or Freezer. This will then need placing onto the racking or pallets. There is handball involved.

You must be

• Comfortable working in chilled conditions
• Physically capable of repetitive lifting
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Previous warehouse or cold store experience preferred

Desirable (but not essential):

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence

This is a temp to perm position

Your hours of work will be 8:30am – 17:00pm Monday to Friday.

Flexibility required for overtime when business needs demand

You will be paid £13.00 per hour and will accrue 28 days holiday pro rata
