Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operative for a full-time, Monday to Friday role in the UK. The position is temporary with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Immediate start is available and the role includes a pay rate of £13.25 per hour and up to 28 days of holiday per year. Responsibilities include operating a counterbalance forklift, loading/unloading deliveries, and performing routine equipment checks while maintaining a clean

Qualifications

• A valid counterbalance forklift licence.
• Previous experience operating a counterbalance.
• Flexi licence/experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently to move and transport furniture products.
• Load and unload deliveries while ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.
• Complete regular forklift and equipment checks and report faults or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised warehouse environment.

We’re looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operative to join our friendly and supportive team.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently to move and transport a range of furniture products.
• Loading and unloading deliveries while ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.
• Completing regular forklift and equipment checks and reporting any faults or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and well‑organised warehouse environment.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties and supporting the wider team as needed.

Duration: This role is full time and comes with opportunities to be taken on permanently.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You will receive £13.25 per hour pay and accrue up to 28 days holiday per year.Please be advised that we cannot offer sponsorship. Immediate start

Working Hours: The role is Monday to Friday only, no weekends required. Shift times are 08:00 to 17:15 with a 45 minute break.

Experience & Qualifications

The must haves for this role are:
