Job summary

Driver Hire Crewe is seeking an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver for a client in Sandbach, Cheshire. The role is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent assignment with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will operate an FLT Counterbalance both indoors and in the yard, move stock around the site, assist with loading/unloading and support stock control and categorisation tasks while adhering to health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• FLT Counterbalance licence essential.
• Previous experience operating an FLT in a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Good attention to detail when handling, identifying and categorising stock.

FLT Counterbalance Driver

Location: Sandbach, Cheshire

Assignment Rate: £14.30 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent (12 weeks)

The Role

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-established client, a fabrication specialist based in Sandbach, Cheshire, for an experienced and reliable FLT Counterbalance Driver to join their team.

This is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent opportunity, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an FLT Counterbalance truck both inside and outside the warehouse, moving stock around the site and assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles. The role will also involve general warehouse operative duties, stock control, itemising stock and categorising materials around the site.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Thursday: 06:00-14:00
• Friday: 06:00-12:00
