Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited are recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver in Sandbach. This temporary-to-permanent role offers Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, and a competitive rate of £13.50 per hour. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

You will load vehicles and support daily warehouse operations, requiring a valid FLT Counterbalance licence and good English communication. Reach Truck licence is an advantage but not essential.

The Best Connection Group Limited are currently recruiting for a client in Sandbach, it is an experienced FLT Counterbalance position this is an immediate opportunity with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver looking for stable, Monday to Friday work with a competitive hourly rate of £13.50.

As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a counterbalance forklift truck to load vehicles and support daily warehouse and loading operations. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, as loading instructions and vehicle requirements can change frequently.

Job Responsibilities

• Operating an FLT Counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading vehicles in accordance with detailed loading instructions.
• Ensuring goods are loaded correctly, securely and safely.
• Following written and verbal instructions and adapting to frequent changes in loading requirements.
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Supporting warehouse operations and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.

FLT Counterbalance Driver Requirements

• Hold a valid FLT Counterbalance licence.
• Have good English communication skills to understand detailed loading instructions and frequent operational changes.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality and good attention to detail.
• Reach Truck licence would be an advantage, although this is not essential.
