Job summary

People Solutions are recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our client in Cumbernauld. This permanent, full-time role offers £27,000 per annum with a Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00 shift and immediate starts.

You will operate a Counterbalance FLT, load/unload vehicles and handle warehouse duties. A valid FLT licence and reliable, punctual approach are essential for success.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, Forklift Driver or Forklift Truck Operator.

Rates of Pay:

• £27,000 per annum

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as an FLT Counterbalance Driver are:

• Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving, stacking and storing goods within the warehouse
• Preparing stock for storage and dispatch
• Completing general warehouse duties as required
• Following all site procedures and health and safety regulations
• Maintaining clean, organised and safe working areas
• Assisting with stock movements and inventory control
• Supporting the wider warehouse operation to ensure deadlines are met

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an FLT Counterbalance Driver, you will need:

• A valid Counterbalance FLT licence
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT
• A reliable and punctual approach to work
• A strong commitment to workplace safety
• The ability to work effectively in a busy warehouse environment
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail

Desirable Experience:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Experience loading and unloading vehicles
• Experience within a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment

Training:
