Pertemps Glasgow Perm Hub in Cumbernauld is recruiting an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operator for a temporary, full-time role with a strong potential to become permanent. Hours are Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:00 and Friday 08:00–15:00 (37 hours per week) with an early finish on Fridays.

This Counterbalance Forklift role in Cumbernauld suits an experienced warehouse operator seeking steady work. The position is full time and temporary, with a genuine prospect of permanent employment for the right person. Hours run Monday to Thursday, 08:00 until 16:00, and Friday, 08:00 until 15:00, giving 37 hours each week and an early finish to close it. Pay is £15.50 per hour. About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operator to join our busy team in Cumbernauld. It is a key dual role within our warehouse operation, combining forklift driving with day-to-day warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating the Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move stock around the warehouse.
• Managing goods in/out, including checking deliveries against paperwork and reporting discrepancies.
• Stacking, racking, and picking orders accurately for dispatch.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties, manual handling, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
• Supporting periodic stock checks and inventory audits.

Candidate Requirements

• Certification: Valid, accredited Counterbalance Forklift license (RTITB, ITSSAR, or equivalent).
• Experience: Proven experience operating a Counterbalance truck in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
