Job summary

People Solutions are recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our client based in Parkgate Rotherham. This role offers an excellent hourly rate, regular shifts, and the potential to secure a permanent position.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid RTITB or ITSSAR-accredited counterbalance FLT licence and have at least two years' experience operating a counterbalance FLT, with strong attention to health and safety.

Qualifications

• A valid RTITB or ITSSAR-accredited counterbalance FLT licence.
• A minimum of two years' experience operating a counterbalance FLT.
• Strong attention to detail and awareness of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a counterbalance FLT to load and unload trailers.
• Moving stock from deliveries and preparing goods for despatch.
• Completing pre-shift safety checks and required documentation.
• Driving safely with consideration for load type, surface conditions, and the surrounding environment.
• Stacking and storing pallets efficiently while maintaining care and accuracy.
• Reporting any damage to pallets, goods, or equipment immediately.

FLT Counterbalance Driver - Rotherham

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our well-established client based in Parkgate Rotherham. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and the potential to secure a permanent position.

This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Forklift Truck Driver, FLT Operator or Counterbalance Truck Operative.

Shifts:

• Rotating weekly: Monday to Friday, 05:45 - 14:00 / 13:45 - 22:00

Rates of Pay:£12.71 - £13.58 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a FLT Counterbalance Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Safely operating a counterbalance FLT to load and unload trailers

Essential Skills:

To be successful in this role as a FLT Counterbalance Driver you must have:

• A valid RTITB or ITSSAR-accredited counterbalance FLT licence
• A minimum of two years' experience operating a counterbalance FLT
• Strong attention to detail and awareness of health and safety procedures

Desirable Experience:

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience
• Immediate availability

Training:

• Full site training with ongoing support throughout your assignment
