Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver/ Warehouse Operator in Cumbernauld. This temporary position offers a strong chance of permanency for the right candidate, with a dual role in forklift operation and daily warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid, accredited Counterbalance forklift license (RTITB, ITSSAR, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Operate the Counterbalance forklift safely to load, unload and move stock.
• Check deliveries against paperwork and report discrepancies.
• Stack, rack and pick orders for dispatch accurately.
• Help with general warehouse duties and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Support periodic stock checks and inventory audits.

About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operator to join our busy team in Cumbernauld.

This position starts on a temporary basis, with a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent contract based on performance, attendance, and team fit. It is a key dual role within our warehouse operation, combining forklift driving with day-to-day warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating the Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move stock around the warehouse.
• Managing goods in/out, including checking deliveries against paperwork and reporting discrepancies.
• Stacking, racking, and picking orders accurately for dispatch.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties, manual handling, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
• Supporting periodic stock checks and inventory audits.

Candidate Requirements

• Certification: Valid, accredited Counterbalance Forklift license (RTITB, ITSSAR, or equivalent).
• Experience: Proven experience operating a Counterbalance truck in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
