Job summary

Royal Mail Midlands Super Hub in Crick seeks a Flow Room System Manager to oversee the automated APSS and related control systems, ensuring smooth parcel flow and uptime.

You will translate live data into action, coordinate Operations and Engineering, and drive continuous improvement while working a Tuesday-Saturday shift.

The role offers a starting salary of £36,353 with a 10% bonus potential, 25 days leave, and a competitive pension.

Qualifications

• Experience in control-room or flow-operations environments.
• Experience with automated parcel sorting systems.
• Ability to make real-time decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage automated sorting systems to maximise performance and availability.
• Make real-time operational decisions to manage flow and bottlenecks.
• Coordinate engineering activity and prioritise faults to minimise downtime.
• Manage vehicle flow through yard management to optimise site efficiency.
• Review operational data and identify opportunities for preventative maintenance and improvement.
• Provide first-line support for operational, mechanical and system issues.
