Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Flow Room Controller in Daventry to monitor and support warehouse automation systems, ensuring reliable performance and KPI delivery. The role works a 5-from-7 shift pattern (07:00-15:00 or 15:00-23:00) in a permanent full-time capacity at our Daventry site.

You will oversee alarms, logs, and plant equipment, coordinate with automation teams, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of JDA, Körber or similar WMS and automation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Data retrieval, reporting and analysis experience.
• Proactive problem solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and prioritising under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor warehouse automation systems and control screens.
• Monitor alarms, resolve issues and escalate as needed.
• Maintain accurate shift logs and records.
• Track performance of plant equipment across shifts.
• Collaborate with automation teams to ensure continuity.
• Support delivery of site KPIs and performance targets.

We are looking for a motivated Flow Room Controller to monitor and support warehouse automation systems, ensuring operational performance, system reliability, and the successful delivery of site KPIs in a fast-paced logistics environment. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Monitoring warehouse automation systems and control screens
• Monitoring alarms, resolving issues and escalating where appropriate
• Maintaining accurate shift logs and operational records
• Actively monitoring the status and performance of plant equipment and systems throughout the shift
• Working closely with automation support teams to ensure operational continuity
• Supporting the delivery of site KPIs, including financial and operational performance targets
• Identifying continuous improvement opportunities and supporting process enhancements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience within warehouse or supply chain operations
• Knowledge of JDA, Körber, or similar Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automation platforms
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
• Experience with data retrieval, reporting and analysis
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure
