Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Derby is seeking an experienced Flow Controller to manage outbound flow, stock accuracy, and scheduling for a new start-up operation. You will use WMS and Kronos to optimise labour, ensure timely dispatch, and resolve issues affecting service levels.

The role requires warehouse/logistics experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a focus on continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Rate: £25,000-£30,000 (dependent on experience)

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: VARIOUS AVAILABLE across earlies/lates & nights any 5 days from 7

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage warehouse order flow, ensuring outbound orders are allocated, monitored, and delivered in line with customer requirements and dispatch deadlines
• Investigate and resolve operational issues, including stock discrepancies, short shipments, outbound errors, and automation faults
• Support labour and operational planning, including workforce allocation, Kronos administration, and trailer planning
• Coordinate inbound activity, maintaining schedules, monitoring stock flow, and resolving inbound enquiries and discrepancies
• Produce operational reports and maintain key trackers, providing performance data and management information to support decision-making and continuous improvement

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Warehouse, logistics, or supply chain experience, with strong administrative and organisational skills
• Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience is essential, with confidence using operational systems and managing data accurately
• Automation experience is essential, with the ability to identify and investigate system or process issues
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to resolve problems, produce reports, and work effectively with stakeholders
