Job summary

Dematic is seeking a resident team support role in the East Midlands to ensure continuous operation of automated systems and maintain safe, efficient warehouse processes. You will provide first-line equipment support, assist in fault resolution and support maintenance efforts with engineers on site.

The position emphasizes health and safety compliance, on-site teamwork, and adherence to Dematic quality standards.

Qualifications

• Basic key-skills and basic IT competency.
• SafePass, CSCS Card (desirable)
• Previous experience/knowledge of automated systems, warehouse or production environment
• Working at height experience (desirable)
• Demonstrable history of safe working and contribution towards a positive working culture

Responsibilities

• To comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times and promote a positive H&S culture.
• KPI focused with a mentality to over achieve where possible
• Provide first-line support to all equipment in scope of the Dematic contract.
• Maintain product flow at all times.
• Provide basic fault resolution and contribute towards complex faults alongside the engineering team
• As required, provide assistance in maintenance and breakdown situations to the engineering team
• To work within the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices
• To drive 5S and value-add practices across site
• Prioritisation of multiple system faults
• To ensure quality of output at all times
• To accurately record all work undertaken
• Involvement in continuous improvement and sales opportunities
• To represent the company in a professional manner at all times and maintain customer relations
• To adhere to the Quality processes and procedures as set out by the company
