Job summary

To support the resident team at DHL East midlands, Dematic is seeking a site-based support professional with strong health and safety commitments. You will provide first-line support for equipment under the Dematic contract, maintain smooth product flow, and assist in maintenance alongside the engineering team.

The role emphasizes safe working practices, adherence to manufacturer recommendations, and ongoing improvement initiatives within a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Basic key-skills and basic IT competency.
• SafePass and CSCS Card are desirable.
• Experience/knowledge of automated systems, warehouse or production environment.
• Working at height experience is desirable.
• History of safe working and positive working culture.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times and promote a positive H&S culture.
• KPI focused with a mentality to over achieve where possible.
• Provide first-line support to all equipment in scope of the Dematic contract.
• Maintain product flow at all times.
• Provide basic fault resolution and contribute towards complex faults alongside the engineering team.
• As required, provide assistance in maintenance and breakdown situations to the engineering team.
• To work within the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices.
• To drive 5S and value-add practices across site.
• Prioritisation of multiple system faults.
• To ensure quality of output at all times.
• To accurately record all work undertaken.
• Involvement in continuous improvement and sales opportunities.
• To represent the company in a professional manner at all times and maintain customer relations.
• To adhere to the Quality processes and procedures as set out by the company.
