Job summary

JD Sports is seeking a Floor Manager to lead the shop floor with hands-on leadership, driving customer service standards and operational excellence. You will motivate the team, uphold JD policies, and ensure the store runs smoothly across shifts.

The role focuses on delivering strong sales performance, maintaining visual standards, and developing colleagues to meet KPIs in a busy retail environment. You will collaborate with management to create an engaging customer experience.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with proven experience supporting and developing team members.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to uphold high operational and visual standards.
• Solid commercial awareness with an understanding of how daily actions contribute to store KPIs and performance.

Role Overview

As a Floor Manager at JD Sports, you play a key role in driving strong shop-floor performance and delivering the JD service our customers expect. You lead by example - supporting your team, keeping standards high, and ensuring the floor runs smoothly every shift. Working closely with the management team, you help drive sales, boost customer engagement, and maintain a clean, organised, and high-performing store environment.
