Job summary

Emberwood in Bath is seeking a Floor Manager to lead service in the evenings and weekends, ensuring guests receive exquisite experiences with a team-focused approach.

The role requires at least 1 year in a comparable position, with strong knowledge of the Order of Service and a commitment to health and safety standards. You will coach junior staff, maintain high service standards and uphold Emberwood’s brand ethos throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a comparable position and environment.
• Guest-focused approach with strong leadership and teamwork.
• Proficient with order of service and training junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Guest Interaction and Repeat Business built on trust and experiences.
• Keen eye for detail during service and supporting the wider team in delivering service standards of the highest quality in relation to our offering.
• Assist with training of staff to be well considered, supporting one-on-ones and group sessions to build the skill level of the team.
• Take on sole responsibility of duty management having operational control of the restaurant, bar, terrace and lounge, making decisions affecting staff and guests.
• Compliant with Health and Safety Standards, to deliver exquisite experiences for guests.
• Working with all teams within the Hotel, to ensure all staff and guests receive warmth and generosity.
• Upholding the brand with a positive attitude, energy and enthusiasm.

SALARY: £30,000 + Tronc (Approx 3-4k per annum)

Who Are We Looking For?

The Floor Manager will ensure that all food services arewell driven, and the team are best prepared to dial into the guests needs. Theywill be extremely passionate about food and beverage and dedicated to ensuringslick and professional services.

They will be proficient with the Order of service, helpingsupport the Restaurant Manager in training other junior members of the team byshadowing and supporting them with the Order of Service, Allergy Proceduresetc. They will act as a support for the Head Waiters, Head Hosts and HeadBartenders so as to ensure guest satisfaction and high levels of service.

They should have at least 1 years of experience in acomparable position and environment. It is essential they are guest focused andrecognise that the team will be responsible for delivering an exquisiteexperience. As such, training and shaping the team is fundamental in being ableto achieve a harmonious and passionate collective.
