Job summary

RecruitEasy are recruiting an experienced Floor Layer for our client in Hereford, Herefordshire. This ongoing role begins on 02-11-2026 and offers a pay rate of £160.00–£180.00 per hour, paid weekly.

You will mainly fit vinyl flooring, prepare surfaces, measure, cut and fit with accuracy, and work across various properties, while maintaining high standards and safety. Driving licence and own transport preferred due to multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Proven floor laying experience required.
• Experience installing vinyl flooring.
• Own tools and reliable with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Fit vinyl flooring and prepare surfaces.
• Measure, cut, and install flooring accurately.
• Remove and replace existing flooring when needed.
• Work across multiple locations and keep areas safe.
• Maintain high workmanship standards.

Floor Layers Required!

RecruitEasy are looking for an experienced Floor Layers to work for our client based in Hereford, Herefordshire.

Duration: Ongoing

Start Date: 02-11-2026

Pay Rate: £160.00 - £180.00 Per Hour - paid weekly!

Pay rate depending on experience and/or tickets.

**We do not use umbrella companies to process your pay!**

Job Roles:

• Mainly fitting vinyl flooring
• Preparing floors and surfaces prior to installation
• Measuring, cutting and fitting flooring accurately
• Removing and replacing existing flooring where required
• Carrying out repairs and remedial flooring works
• Working mainly within kitchens and bathrooms
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
• Working across various properties and project locations
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
• Working independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

• Previous floor laying experience essential
• Experience with vinyl flooring
• Own tools
• Reliable and professional
• Good attention to detail
• Driving licence and own transport preferred due to multiple locations
