Job summary

Think Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Floor Layer to install flooring within social housing kitchens and bathrooms across Hereford and Worcestershire. You will prepare subfloors, measure and fit flooring, and finish with trims, while coordinating with other trades and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Must hold a Blue CSCS Card, bring your own van, and be willing to travel throughout Hereford and Worcestershire on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Kitchen and bathroom flooring experience.
• Strong subfloor preparation and finishing skills.
• Blue CSCS Card is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel across Hereford and Worcestershire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare subfloors and complete levelling work where required.
• Measure, set out, cut and install flooring.
• Fit flooring neatly around kitchen units, bathroom fixtures and doorways.
• Complete thresholds, trims and finishing details.
• Follow product installation instructions and ensure quality workmanship.
• Coordinate with other trades and maintain safe, tidy work areas.

Location: Hereford and Worcestershire

Rate: £200-£220 per day

Contract: Ongoing programme scheduled for the next 4½ years

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen and bathroom flooring experience.


• Strong subfloor preparation and finishing skills.


• A valid Blue CSCS Card - mandatory.


• Your own van.


• The ability to travel across Hereford and Worcestershire.
