Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Floor Layer for a social housing project in Skelmersdale. The role involves installing and repairing floor coverings in occupied or vacant properties, with duties including sub-floor preparation and fitting vinyl safety or cap-and-cove flooring.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in floor coverings or equivalent.
• Basic DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
• Asbestos Awareness.
• UK driving licence with 6 points or less.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair floor coverings in occupied or vacant housing association properties in Skelmersdale and surrounding areas.

• Maintain high standards of customer care.

At Build Recruitment, we work exclusively with built environment specialists around the UK. Our client is looking for an experienced Floor Layer to join their team for a 3 month temporary to permanent social housing contract in Skelmersdale.

The successful Floor Layer will install and repair floor coverings in occupied or vacant housing association properties in Skelmersdale and surrounding areas. Key duties include sub-floor preparation, fitting vinyl safety or cap-and-cove flooring, and maintaining customer care.

The pay rate for this role is £23.63PH and the role comes with a company van and fuel card.

Requirements for this role:

• NVQ L2 in floor covering or equivalent
• Basic DBS (or be willing to get one in process)
• Asbestos Awareness
• UK driving license with 6 points or less
