Job summary

The Hoxton in Holborn is seeking a Floor Manager to lead front-of-house operations across restaurant and bar shifts. You will ensure service excellence, drive guest satisfaction, and work closely with the kitchen and beverage teams to deliver a lively, hospitality-led experience.

You will run daily briefings, manage reservations, and optimize staffing and floor plans while upholding high standards of safety and financial accuracy. A passion for food, drink, and guest care is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a service team in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
• Strong guest-relations skills and the ability to anticipate guest needs.
• Excellent communication and staff development abilities.
• Experience managing reservations, seating plans and floor coverage.
• Interest in wine and food knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure restaurant and bar areas meet health and safety standards for each shift.
• Lead daily briefings for restaurant/bar teams.
• Coordinate and manage reservations system.
• Draft floor plans based on anticipated covers.
• Assist with stock control for food & beverage and support menus training.
• Support AGM on wine, food and beverage offerings.
• Handle cash, revenue reporting and daily reconciliations.
• Oversee labour scheduling and floor service.
